About

Hi, I am Abhilasha Agrawal, Product UI/UX Designer. I am working on a digital platform of a publishing house in Delhi (an Android/iOS app for book readers and a writing platform for aspiring writers).

Other domains I had worked in last 3 years in design:

  • Marketing Automation
  • Design Consulting
  • Tourism
  • Telecom operations & energy management and a few more.

UI/UX Skills

Have strong understanding of:

  • Various User-centered design methodologies
  • Stakeholder Interviews
  • Competitor Research
  • Wireframes & Prototypes
  • Information Architecture
  • Visual UI design
  • Color Theory
  • Typography & Typesetting
  • Branding & Logo Design, and
  • Adobe products

Few of my analog skills:

  • Sketching
  • Colouring but not painting,
  • Calligraphy &
  • Photography (not a pro)

Before design

Before getting into design, I worked as Application Developer in Business Intelligence Portfolio in telecom domain (Bharti Airtel) at IBM India for around 2.5 years.

Core strengths

I think I am very focused & passionate and have a inner drive to succeed which itself pulls off whatever it requires in terms of time, motivation or resources.

But in design, I believe boredom is the key. The more you get bored of your own work, the more you’ll refine it and make it better each time.

Next goal

I’m nowadays craving to design a scalable and data-driven product; and an eternal design that can live up to the changing design trends.

Apart from this, I am fond of loud music, back-to-back movies, gymming, sports and sometimes just sitting idle…! I even have a long-cherished dream to travel places, like nomads..

Well, Thanks for stopping by!
